Karl Bodmer's "Pehriska-Ruhpa, Minitarri Warrior in the Costume of the Dog Dance" was taken as an inspiration for the design of this tattoo. Bodmer's original drawing is still one of the best Indian portrait ever made. For this occasion it was adapted with a tattoo-machine.
